Very (non-scientific) rough estimate (wide margin of error) .. I did a side by side with the AIS images and Google Earth image and placemarked the corresponding positions (again to my best approximation)...then I just used the distance/path tools. Really not to be used for exact measurement but for a general feeling of progress/entertainment purposes, it'll do
... short of calling up the bridge, this would give us a very rough estimate of the D J's speed.
