I did not like this album at all when I first heard it. It took several times of listening before I reached the right frame of mind to enjoy it. After my father passed a few years ago, it really hit home. Pretty difficult to listen to 10,000 Days/Wings for Marie without having a slight break down now. They're a band all their own. The careful intricacies, measures and small easter eggs throughout all their work, I feel, make their music timeless and easily enjoyed decades after being released. My oldest son did a paper on them in school and turned his teacher into a fan.
