I'm currently on 2.3 bar front 2.6 bar rear. This changes quite a lot though, I have a pressure gauge in the glove box and can't resist fiddling!
I also have 225 wheels, they seem to be made of an alloy that's softer than butter and love to flat spot from pot holes, especially with the low profile tyres. I'd recommend asking your tyre fitter to check for flat spots when fitting / balancing. Check for cracks too: I've been through a tyre fitter and MOT with a cracked wheel and no one noticed!
