I'm working through this right now on my car. I've noticed I get the same bad audio quality on my BlueTrip, Android plugged in directly, and ipod plugged in directly.
I've tried turning up the Aux-Vol and down the volume on the device and it doesn't help. I use NIN-Down In it as a test track and the bass isn't coming through at all.
I'm going to try a headphone inline amp (
