I cut the dash to install a 10.5" X5 screen. I never finished the install because I quickly discovered that not only is there no hole up top for the screen, the hole at the bottom is the wrong size so the cic/evo head unit would not fit.
So, I just drove around for a year with wires everywhere and the head unit sliding around...
I just finished installing a nav dash, and will be installing an 8.8 screen in the factory hole.
If you want my old pro-radio dashboard (with a slot cut in it to hold the 10.5 screen i was using) to experiment with cutting and seeing what fits before you slice up your car, you're welcome to it (though shipping to Greece might be pricy lol)
