I took in my car today to get the update. My usual SA was not in...so I got a pinch hitter
I finally convinced him to do my update...but he was trying to tell me that he has 3 customer vehicles (anyone here???) that had 25.1.1 installed and VR was lost. I think he was trying to discourage me from getting it done...but I told him that I was pretty convinced it would be ok..AS LONG AS it was 25.1.1 that they were installing. He agreed to do it, with the understanding that I will not get mad if I lose VR. I told him, that I will take my chances if it is indeed 25.1.1
The car is at South Bay BMW till tomorrow. I will update once I pick up.
BTW...I was going to get the oil change done there..but they told me it was going to be $140
I got it done once before at BMW San Diego for $75. Guess I will make a quick stop there later this month, when I am visiting my parents.
