Yeah. I've found the ideal spring rates depend a lot on the damper valving and geometry. For example, the 336/672 rates that my ASTs came with resulted in massively over pre loaded front springs and a very imbalanced ride height. since switching to 450/800 both my street and track rides are far more comfortable.
