Thought I'd add my symptoms as another set of reference data:

Starting about a month before the pump was replaced, my cranks started to get longer, approximately 3-5 seconds. Not necessarily when it was cold, kind of just random during the day.

Then about 10 days before I went to the dealership, I had an SES light on while driving for two days. Then it went out. About three days later it came on again for two days, then went out.

On the day I took it to the dealership, no light, but still longer, random cranks. The dealer could not originally duplicate the light, but there were codes for the HPFP. Then as luck would have it, my SA and the tech were taking the car for a test drive and the SES light came on again. The pressure was fine, but there were codes for engine software. They updated that, and since then I have not have a problem.

Pump was replaced at 4,000 miles and 5 months of ownership.
