I can't comment directly to the question on your title, but is there something you can do differently this time around..? Like - did you do a thorough PPI and check the car service and maintenance records before buying? We have Carfax here, not sure if you guys have a similar service. If you can do a better job vetting down the car, maybe you'll have better luck this time around.. Else, find something that you're comfortable will be reliable and repair-free going in.. :dunno:
