Happened to me during Canadian GP maybe 15 years ago. We went to the Casino and leaving to go back to the hotel (around 1am) we found an open gate. Did 3 or 4 laps before security chased us down on ATV's. We didn't get arrested. We were escorted off the track.
All in a E39 M5 btw.
