I just got a roof-mount bike rack, so I no longer have any use for it. I've used it a few times, but it's still in excellent condition; the sponges/pads are still perfect, and there's no sign of wear.
Although this rack is made for 3 bikes, I was comfortable transporting 1-2 bikes on it. However, I ended up getting a roof rack because I got tired of putting this on/taking this off every time i go riding. It only takes about 5 minutes (or less) to get it mounted on your trunk though.
I've driven with this rack (with my bike) through the roads in Baltimore (lots of pot holes, uneven pavement, etc) without issues. However, since I no longer have a use for it, it's up for sale.
