It's probably easiest to follow the JB4 install guide as the first few steps involve removing the pieces in question:

The screws highlighted in green do not hold what is pointed to with the pink arrows.
But yes, a flat head screw driver on the top side of the battery cables will unlatch that.
You don't necessarily need to remove any of the above mentioned though.
2 clamps hold on the intakes, so just unscrew the clamps and the filters come off.
