I traded her in on the 911 Dan. She was a really good car but I must admit the 911 is even more fun and involving.

We have washed about 40,000 cars at Castle Hill since we opened in 2006 and about 300,000 including our other sites.

If you follow some rules you will eliminate the risk of scratching with any type of washing process (hand or machine).
  1. Make sure the paint surface is cool to touch before washing. Very important !!!
  2. Rinse off any dust.
  3. Use a clean mitt, sponge, carwash brush fibre, etc. If using a carwash, ensure it uses Softex fibres – not nylon).
  4. Use a good lubricant (i.e. shampoo).

If you want to keep your car really looking good:
  • Wash weekly.
  • Don’t use any chemicals on the wheels.
  • Swirl-remove and then Polish your paintwork and wheels every two months (minimum).
  • “Moist” chamois your leather weekly.
  • Don’t drive too close to other vehicles on motorways (stone chips).

Cheers,

CaptOz
