Thanks Parapaul, I will double check all my connections tommorow and will move speaker connections around i,e, swap them over and see if the hissing/buzzing goes away
My worse fear is that when I attached the techincs harness onto the back of the headunit and pushed it back it was quite tight. I hope I have not nipped one of the wires on sharp edges behind the HU
My gut feeling is the RCA plug connector as I bought them off ebay so will buy some from Maplins tommorow and change them over
