I honestly did not know that. When I went to the dealer here, they tried charging me for it. I'll look that up.
Edit: Looking into it, I'm not sure if it applies. I think my issue is with the flapper valve in the rear exhaust, which is noisy on cold starts. I'm not sure if that's directly attributable to the turbo wastegates, which I mistakenly identified in my OP.
