Ever since I changed my tires out, I always look around at stoplights to see if anyone else has changed his tires yet. I'd say at least 75-80% of the sports cars and sports sedans I see have had summer tires on them. The remaining 20-25% have all seasons. I'm like the only guy in DC with winter tires on.  Oh well. I've been happy with them. |
Bwhwhahaha so I'm not the only one! I was checking out the cars on the roads today as well. Saw a modded Firechicken on the road, hazards in full effect, sliding down the road at 5 MPH. Also saw a decked out Civic getting squirrely behind me. I promptly switched lanes!
I'm happy to say my Conti winter tires were up to the task today. No issues with control ... and I "tested" out the tires a few times -- fairly predictable, which is what I was hoping for
