BTW this situation is a really good example of how many things are going on that you have to pay attention to in order to determine a complete remedy.
Complaint: Lowering springs on stock shocks too harsh.
Oh, wait, with no bump stop trimming. (so trim stops)
Oh, wait, with H&R's. (softer springs like eibachs or ZSP)
Oh, wait, stock shocks with 220k km (replace shocks with Koni or similar)
Oh wait, the stops are crumbling (so let it "settle" some more).
etc.
When the problems are all of the following together: old shocks, too stiff springs, old untrimmed stops. But then with 220k I'd imagine major bushings need attention as well as a lot of other stuff.
