I started in 1st every time. I know the rear wheel drive guys like to start in 2nd but i dont think that would benefit me sense i dont have any traction issues.
That 12.14 i ran I experience quite a bit of wheel hop tho. Shook the whole car pretty bad so im sure that slowed me down a good bit.
