Well what can I say, just do it
. 3 Weeks in and I still look forward to driving to work in the morning. You will love the extra Torque/Power. Can't report fully on Fuel consumption yet but it is looking good so far.
Here is what I recorded through 2nd/3rd gear 30-70 mph real speed (see my previous post in sticky evolve thread for other stat and how):
330D evolved: 30-70 mph through gear = 4.45 sec
330D Standard: 30-70 mph through gear= 5.25 sec
I love 2,500 rpm
in any gear:
In 2nd Gear at 2,500 rpm (27.5 mph real speed) it pulls 0.77 G
In 3rd Gear at 2,500 rpm (43 mph real speed) it pulls 0.48 G
In 4th Gear at 2,500 rpm (58mph real speed) it pulls 0.34 G
In 5th Gear at 2,500 rpm (75mph real speed) it pulls 0.25 G
Remenber that 0.8G is pulling 2 car lenght in acceleration in just 1 sec
Also once off the line above 2K rpm, it should be as fast (if not faster due to slight weight advantage) than a standard 335d, enough said!
