I think i'll miss the ability to ring the cars neck along back-roads and still see 50mpg. Thats certaily something people forget when they calculate running costs. Driving even modest petrols in such a way has always resulted in horrific mpg.

If I drove my old 3.0 Z4 or my old MK5 Golf GTI 2.0 turbo hard I would see no more than 22mpg, driving my 3.0 diesel just as fast i still get over 40mpg
Quite a difference when you do 70 miles a day
