ISTA D and Voltage Stabilizer
I will soon be replacing my BMW's transfer case fluid, and along with this I've read the transfer case adaptations need to be reset. ISTA D can do this pretty easily, but I'm wondering, when using ISTA D to do an adaptations reset, do I need a voltage stabilizer? A battery charger seems like an obvious safety measure to prevent the battery voltage from dropping too low, but is that enough to keep the battery voltage high during the programming?
(I'm new to BMW and their software in general, just want to be extra careful not to brick my DSC module).
