what is this alternator issue with 06 cars?
i just got a red battery message today while driving but it went away after a few seconds.
then when i switched off the engine, it would not start again before several tries. no cranking whatsoever.
i ran a diagnostic test and got these error codes:
CAS A0B4: Engine start, starter operation
DME 2E97: Alternator - electric
My car is a 08/2006 built E92 335i.
