Thanks! I'm using a Canon 5D DSLR. As for the blurry backgrounds on some of them you'll want to adjust the aperture setting which most cameras let you do. To get more of the background to be out of focus/blurry you want to have a larger aperture which means using lower f number (e.g. f/2, f/2.8 etc). You can just experiment with your camera by using diff aperture values (f9, f5.6, f2) and focusing on the same object and you'll see the difference it makes.
