I just updated maps to 2020 from 2009 Motion edition. The navigation is not caliberated with new maps so do not update till you have full backup or maps of 2009
Map update is an easy process using map data in USB and placing it in glove box usb port. Restart the CIC (by holding the volume round button for few seconds) and then go to navigation..settings and select update map data.
