First off,
I would like to apologize for sacrificing a thread to more misfire stuff but I don't like resurrecting ancient threads.
My 335i has what sounds like a misfire on cold starts at idle that. Clears up after 40 seconds, my idle rpm don't fluctuate and I can hardly feel it inside the car. And I gave absolutely no fault codes.
So the question is is this normal, and what causes this.
I suppose it has something to do with DI and the fact I take a lot of short runs.
Do any of you experience the same issue?
I also took it into the dealer and they said it's pretty normal
