I found a multi page discussion on Russian dash cam forum, this seems to be the same (or very similar) unit with Sony matrix and Novatek processor:

Most people say the video quality is pretty good. The most commonly mentioned glitch is that the camera is loosing settings after restart (motion and G-sensor), but that seems to be firmware dependent. There are links to multiple firmware versions in the same thread.
