VO Code changes
Hi, I appreciate that this is an old post but no harm in asking! My DME got water damaged and couldnt establish comms with it so I have bought a used DME and CAS unit. The car is firing now but on start it immediately cuts out, the fault codes show gear zero position and vaccum sensor fault. I believe these are associated with auto stop/start which my own car does not have but the donor I'm guessing did.
If I find the VO code for auto stop/start is it a matter of deleting that entry/function and how is that done? If this doesnt work out for me I have located another E91 DME/CAS with the exact correct spec but its left hand drive and mine is RHD, is that something I could change or would need to in the DME or in VO codes?
