The power will increase both on N/A and turbo engines when the exhaust system is opended after the collector. N/A engines are more sensitive on header design though. Long and thin pipes is good for low end power and provides a crisp throttle response from idle to midrange. Large and shorter ones is needed for high power on high rpm's.
