It's a 'drop in' to a point.
the entire Differential is removed and taken apart.
The LSD is then installed in your stock 3.46 gears.
2K would just be for the LSD.
Then, you'd have to pay for install.
I'd guess at 3-4 hours labor, min.., then the same cost to remove your LSD and return the Open Diff to your casing for return of lease.
With all the mods we're doing, our leased cars can probably be sold for more than the buyout on the lease anyway, so you can leave all mods on and sell, instead of turning in.
I sold my ZHP and profited $4,800 including the cost of the mods as well.
Though, that was a special case of course.....
I was quoated $2,550 for diff and install on my e46 ZHP.
Install was about $600 of it, I believe.
We'll have to see what happens I guess.
I'd be willing to pay a few hundred over 2K if we only have 10 people and they'd be willing to make a run of 10.
