Thanks Lucifer mines a touring E91, but yours looks correct in that the bottom of the letters line up with the bottom of the BMW roundel.
I had my tailgate painted by my local BMW dealership, and this is where they thought was the correct place...
I took it back not noticing when I collected it, then they cut into my paintwork taking the badge back off. Worst of all, they then stuck it on 20mm too low
It's now there again this week being repainted. I've asked them not to stick my 335d badge on, I would rather do it myself. They do not have an official template...
