You don't need to get a complete dyno run to test air/fuel ratios.
You can test with most plug in tunes. I know the JB4 allows you to plug in via USB and data log your AFR.
I believe the Cobb and others allow you to do this too. I've even heard something about an open source one that has been developed which I think can do it too (though I haven't looked into it) via OBD2 port.
The JB4 one is actually very easy to work, and you can log most of the useful parameters (targeted boost, actual boost, Pedal position, actual throttle, RPM, timing, air fuel ratio, fuel pressure for both high pressure and low pressure systems, intake air temperature).
