Hey guys, I'm back (from page 280) - I've finally had a couple days to get some work done. LEDs removed successfully, had to take the bumper off to do so but 1000% worth it.
I also fixed the plastidip badging and while I think it looks much better, it's likely going to eventually peel all the same, at that time I'll opt for replacing the badges with matte black versions. I still need to tidy up the micro specs so don't poke fun, it was my first time.
Currently working on the CF spoiler repairs, which (likely the same owner who did the above) adhered it to the trunk with f[%#ing tar style adhesive and sticky tape. I cannot for the life of me get this off the trunk without physically harming the clear coat and maybe paint. If anyone has any tips that would be appreciated, I tried soaking with goo gone, then tried taping off and using goof off and a plastic blades scraper, no dice. Makes me sad but would be covered by the spoiler again I guess.
