First I've heard of it. My Ti Armor is actually getting well over the MSI advertised OC speeds.
I get 1950mhz out of the box. MSI says boost clock should get 1650mhz.
The problem with the MSI 1080Ti Armor is the stock cooling is a joke. Before I did the liquid setup it would easily hit ~85-90* on stock clocks. Which then caused the card to automatically underclock itself, but even then it still ran hot. You can read all the reviews on newegg about this. Lots of us posted on the MSI forum about this too, but they locked the threads....
This was the catalyst of getting a new case and cooling setup
