Haven't ordered anything extraordinary (although have been doing some enquiries on "post packages" like Sportech / Autoworx / Autostyling) but I have selected some of the standard optional extras as in the Price List guide.
Apparently, 70% of SA made cars goes overseas and of the 30%, Corporates get a large chunk and then lastly the individual. I was also genuinely told "expect to wait for up to up to six months" but the dealer called me the other day, he has pulled some strings and has placed my order on the Corporate list and I am now getting it in April. From 6 to 3. Cool but still a long wait.
I am also trying to track the progess on BMW\Ownerscircle to no avail. Dealer tells me all is loaded correctly from his side. Does anyone know if SA Web Site is operational as I have also been trying to register as a "client" and get told that my application will be responded to in 3 hours. That was four days ago....
