I think only you can really answer that. Some people are all about the tech some are not. If it's 09+ then its the new idrive and I personally think it's great. Love the internal drive for music, love being able to send addresses directly from google maps to the car, love the screen where I can do all the stuff through idrive. I'm not a fan of how it makes the dash look with the double hump, but to me it was worth it. If I had to do it again I would get the nav again.
