It's a little hard to hear about the latest about underground groups because they don't get much airplay or even publicity relative to "pop" hip-hoppers. It's funny because I probably never would have known about Zion-I had it not been for my hip-hopper woman who likes to attend to these weird underground hip-hop events...where Zion-I coincidentally performed one night. The rappers can freestyle with ease - it's impressive.

Anybody got any more hip-hop recommendations like Zion-I, Deltron 3030, Feenom Circle, Slum Village, etc.? None of that pop hip-hop BS we hear on the radio 1,000X a day.

you should listen to: the jungle brothers, de la soul, and my all time favorite a tribe called quest.
