On my e39 528i I was able to get 55,000 miles on my DWS06s. I had DWS06s also on my e90 335i, pulled them off around 25,000 miles and they had at least half the tread left. So 50k miles on these are not unexpected if you rotate. I also really liked them and thought they provided a good balance performance and all season ability. They did decent enough the two times I drove the e39 to the snow.
