I totally don't get the point of track-focused luxobarges. If you can afford this, you can afford a fast enough sedan for the road and something that will actually be great on a trackday. Or better yet, something luxurious that can TOW the trackday toy to the track.

I agree; willing to be less than 0.1% will ever see the track.
Most "performance" driving they will see is flooring it on the on ramp to cut off someone. Plus other than the badge, it doesn't look a total big difference from a normal 5 series
