No problem. You can buy a new phone from any vendor but that comes with a 2 year contract and requires a pricey data plan. Unless you buy just the phone which can be over $600. My unlock-able ATT phone can be used on a T-Mobil network. You dont even need to activate the data plan or "lock" into a 2 year agreement which what makes it more valuable.

The verizon phones just keep you from locking into a 2 year plan. No sure if Verizon requires a data plan.
