So far I have found the cable that I need from this thread, but the only software talk I've been seeing is for max 2010 (I know it is highly possible I'm overlooking mention of the 2011). Will this software work for the 2011, also (or does someone have a direct link to the software/items I'd need)? Will the same coding techniques used in the 2010 cars work the same on 2011, or were there changes made in this regard when they changed the engine?
Again, I know this has probably been answered but all those posts are making my eyes cross up a bit. I don't mind doing the research/work myself, just could use some help narrowing down where I need to start my research for my specific car (assuming it matters) in this massive thread.
Thanks.

Take a look at the Google Docs spreadsheet at the bottom of the first post that has E9x coding info. As long as you get the right cable (search BMW INPA EDIABAS on eBay and get the one for $119 sold by automotive tool) AND download the latest daten your 2011 will be able to be coded just fine. My 2011.75 M3 codes like a champ.
