you can still chop your mixes... the continuity is still there if your computer isn't from the 90s. there is usually little or no gap between mp3s played on a playlist.
i have a couple of mixes that have been chopped... and i think its better especially if you wan't to return to a good song. take for example girl talk... they chop their songs.
