I'd say it does matter now that petrol is so expensive and let's face it only going to get more expensive.
I'm getting 18ish to the gallon. Can I afford it, yes, do I grudge it, actually yes. I understand that some will be willing to pay to hear the V8 noise, and it is nice, but its a big D for me next time. Can't be bothered with £85 for 220 miles.
