My car makes a ticking sound when cold at idle too for the past 30000km. Started when I got an oil filter gasket leak. Replaced belt and all pulleys but didn't fix it. I listened around with a stethoscope and couldn't really pinpoint it. Sound doesn't change when oil cap is removed. My limited knowledge guess would be injector?
