Completed this DIY on Sunday. Thanks for all the info! Straw tip worked excellently and pin wiring diagrams helped.
Wish I would have taken the advice on removing the visor clips to pull down the FZD. Using a flathead screw driver did not work well or easily.
Programming the Homelink buttons sucked. Took forever to learn the frequency. Ended up finding another unused garage door remote which worked on the first try.
The range of the Homelink buttons is awesome! Much better than using the remote! Didn't have to calibrate the compass either!
