I never used the ECS harness though. Maybe it is not wired correctly for your car. The compass should light up as soon as the mirror has power. |
How would I check to see if the FRM is not working? Does your car have to be pre-coded for the autodim compass mirror? No the lighting system works fine as well as all the electrical components in the car. I see so you used the Tischer harness, maybe that is why its not working. I talked to the independent shop and they confirmed that the mirror works as they tried it with an m3 in the shop. They told me that I would need the FRM3 module to get it to work properly so I am not entirely sure.
