I thought the combo of combox and non-drive didn't exist(through all my reading) but this morning I came across one. 2011 328 that had no I-drive but had the combox (telematik_GPS_BN2000) in the back (VIN: NN86060)

I was planning on using it with the CIC retrofit in my E61 but it got me thinking. Is there any benefit to put it in my 09 E90 (non-Idrive with Mulf2Hi/TCU) I have Bluetooth, 6FL and BMW assist standard with my car.

Is bluetooth streaming even an option with that 2011 I pulled it from or is it only integrated into the I-drive software? (All my research says must have CIC to have combox to get A2DP)
