Both make flow forged lines of wheels light, strong, under $1500/set.

VMR tends to have shallow concave, high offset, narrow 8.5 front fitments for non-M cars. VMR has many great designs!

Apex has great fitment options and profiles, but limited designs.

19x9" +24ish (mid 20's offset range) offset is the ideal fit upfront no rub lowered on a 225.

Both are widely used on bmw's it comes down to the fitment and style you like best.
