Don't know about VMR. I've owned both Forgestar and now Apex.
Forgestar = CRAP! Good if you want weird offsets. Bad if you want a durable wheel.
I have three cracked Forgestar wheels from the roads around here.
I love the fit and finish on Apex. Bought a set to replace the Forgestar wheels.
Also Apex stocks their wheels and will sell you a single. Their designs don't change often.
