That's not the sort of argument I'd like to enter into with BMW,would you?
I'd take a big swerve away from a remap on any BMW now,as mentioned earlier,they (BMW & others) are actively looking for any form of ECU modifications.
Pitch up with a warranty claim (engine/g/box/drivetrain),and regardless of whether the map/tuning box/a.n.other is present or not,if it's been modified and they go looking,the evidence of it's prior existence will be there!
Voided warranty on an M6,feck that!
