Hard to understand your post - if the only thing you have done is downpipes, then You need an fmic and tune to take advantage of them, and a cp so the plastic one doesn't blow up. That should set you back around $700.
Get new plugs, coil packs, that will set you back a few hundred more leaving you with 600 in you n54 repair fund. Fund this to $1500 for "unexpected" repairs which will come up not long after tuned.
Once you've got your 1500 unexpected repairs account all set, you can safely spend anything you have above and beyond towards additional mods.
